At the Viale K canteen, the 5 Star Movement announced yesterday morning the 32 candidates on the list in support of the mayoral candidate Fabio Anselmo. The lawyer from Ferrara, present together with some members of the Grillino party, once again attacked Alan Fabbri: this time the topic touched upon was that of healthcare, with a delicate passage on the deaths of Covid-19.
“Ferrara was the only city that did not give discounts to the tormented Bergamo on the prices of the cremations of the deceased – this is Anselmo’s attack -, despite this I remember the 12 minutes of video of the mayor with the tricolor sash while waiting for the military convoy of bodies. We will never forget that period, which has marked our recent era: I am ashamed to belong to a city that has no scruples in disposing of the deaths caused by the pandemic by applying the highest prices on cremations sums, shortly afterwards, were given to a private company to organize parties and events”.
“On the health issue Fabbri demonstrates hypocrisy and cynicism – continues the centre-left candidate -, he does not fail to criticize the Region and make spot phone calls to set himself up as a hero and allow some citizens to jump the queue, but at the same time he ignores that the central government he Meloni is disinvesting in public healthcare to divert money to private healthcare, which will be central to our coalition’s electoral program: Fabbri’s communication is false and hypocritical, he wants to be the mayor who is ‘everyone’s friend’ but only thinks about himself and his image.” Late tomorrow afternoon, in San Martino, the center-left will present its program: in the meantime, the 5 Star Movement has announced the 32 candidates who will support Anselmo in the next elections. “I have known Fabio for many years – the words of Vittorio Ferraresi, former ‘grillino’ deputy -, we have fought many battles together in parliament, from torture to human rights. He is the right choice, a person free from power games who tends to common good, far from any political party: Fabio is running for Ferrara, for its citizens, for ideas”. Also present was Ilaria Cucchi of Alleanza Verdi-Sinistra: “It’s a terrible moment for people’s rights, unfortunately in Ferrara in particular, compared to fifteen years ago – when I met her – I see it transformed into a negative one. We need to win this challenge all together: with courage, honesty and a straight back, what Fabio has always shown he has.”
