Guests at Stories at the crossroads, Natasha Stefanenko e Luca Sabbioni they told their love story on Saturday afternoon, made up of thoughtful choices, spirituality and a bond that has endured for over thirty years. In front of the cameras, the couple revealed a special project: to say “yes” again, renewing their vows in church with an intimate ceremony away from the spotlight.
The wedding
In two days Natasha and Luca will get married again, this time in Brazil, in a small white and blue church. A simple ceremony, reserved for a few close friends, around twenty people, without fanfare but full of meaning. “After thirty years we will say yes once again,” said Natasha, explaining that he will wear a linen dress and she will wear a French lace dress.
The religious wedding was strongly desired by Luca: «The church wedding is forever. That day I knelt with the ring in my hand and said to her: please, let’s get married in church.” For Natasha, however, that desire comes from afar, from her baptism at the age of forty: «I am convinced that our souls have lived previous lives. The love was immediate.” The parents will not be able to be present for age reasons, but their daughter Sasha will be the witness.
The bet
The story does not lack an unexpected backstory, linked to the beginning of their story. Luca confessed that it all started almost as a joke, from a bet with friends: he would have to conquer Natasha in just 48 hours. “I thought it would be a flirt,” he admitted, “but she blew me away.” Natasha, for her part, recalled that she was immediately aware of the bet: “He told me, and that’s why I agreed to go out with him.”
