Alessandro Borghese left everyone speechless with the words used for a restaurant in Sardinia. Here they are!
We know well that he is a much loved television personality, known to all for his role as host/judge in the program “4 Ristoranti”, a format in which 4 restaurateurs compete.
In each episode the restaurateurs vote on the location, menu, service and price of their opponents but Alessandro Borghese will always have the final say and will be able to confirm or overturn the result. In the last few days Borghese himself revealed a background story on an episode in Sardinia and the disgusting epilogue he found himself experiencing.

Alessandro Borghese recounted, interviewed in the podcast “2046” by Fabio Rovazzi and Marco Mazzoli, some moments from the backstage of 4 Restaurants. The chef revealed two particular episodes he experienced and in particular that he vomited after a recording.
Everyone can have had a “misadventure” in a restaurant and even Alessandro Borghese had an unpleasant experience while hosting an episode of 4 Restaurants. Borghese said that in years of broadcasting there has been no shortage of hilarious or embarrassing moments which put his resistance to the test.
In particular, a rather serious episode particularly affected him. He said: “Two particular things happened at 4 restaurants. Once we were at the seaside, I ordered a sea bass and it arrived without a head. I ask why and the waiter tells me “don’t worry, I’ll fix everything”. He heads towards the kitchen, I follow him without being seen and I see him stick his hand in the garbage, take the head of the fish and reattach it to his body. Here a great disaster happened”.
Another episode that had a disgusting ending was when he accidentally ate some feces. Subsequently Borghese went behind a shed to vomit what he had eaten.
In fact he said: “We were in Barbagia in Sardinia, two or three elderly Sardinian shepherds were taking part and a young one who was viewed in a dubious manner by the older ones. Last supper, grilled meat and Sa Cordula, which is the small intestine of the lamb wrapped around itself, where there is still chyme inside. It is put on the grill, but you have to clean the intestines well, because it is full of m… The dish arrives at the table and the shepherds look at each other, one smells it and says ‘it tastes like m…‘”.
And he concluded by saying that on broadcast, with cameras and everything else, they cut and eat. “But I couldn’t do it, after eating a small piece I ran away behind the shed to vomit”. In On that occasion the chef immediately understood that it was a mistake and a lack of attention on the part of whoever was hosting him at the time.
Well, these are the “accidents” that Borghese experienced during his experience of 4 Restaurants: in short, not all what we see on TV is gold, apparently.
