Plus she’s a special forces agent who returns to her hometown after the sudden death of her father and decides to thwart the corrupt senator and her minions once and for all. Directed by Mouly Suryathe film includes numerous fight scenes that rekindled the spark in Jessica Alba.

Parker is a special forces agent who discovers her father’s sudden passing during a mission. She returns to her hometown and in the meantime she also has to take care of the family business, a bar that her father managed. It is not clear how her father died and, in order to investigate, Parker decides to stay around and understand what the powerful man knows. Senator Swann about that whole thing. His son Jesseonce her boyfriend, became the sheriff of the town while her brother Elvis, always irascible, follows his father’s orders to the letter. In order to discover the truth, Parker realizes that a dark conspiracy is underway in that city that could be linked to his father’s death. Not knowing who he can trust, he therefore tries to draw strength and awareness from his training. Fortunately, her fellow hacker Spider and Mike are there to help her. I hadn’t been in hand-to-hand combat and intense action in so long. I really wanted it to be a more intimate type of combat experience if I needed to take someone out.
The cast includes Mark Webber, Tone Bell, Jake Weary, Gabriel Basso And Anthony Michael Hall. The theme of loss it is central to the film and was a precious emotional boost not only for the director, but also for the leading actress. Jessica Alba admitted that she felt a connection with Parker:
I lost my grandfather during the development process of this film. I drew on a lot of that personal experience when I was making the film just because I literally lost someone and I got to use a lot of photos of my family in the bar scenes. It is, after all, a family story.
