Mark Zuckerberg surprised everyone: despite his immense economic possibilities he decided to spend almost nothing.
Mark Zuckerberg is one of the richest men in the world, thanks to the incredible wealth gained with the real empire built in the world of social networks. From the revolutionary birth of Facebook onwards, the entrepreneur’s investments (and earnings) doubled, up until the creation of Meta and the management of other giants such as Instagram and Whatsapp.
Certainly, the computer visionary has the economic possibilities to take away more than a few whims, but Zuckerberg surprised everyone with the choice of his car. Usually, those with such a high wealth invest in luxury models, from Ferrari to Lamborghini, up to Bugatti, Rolls Royce and all the other brands renowned for representing excellence in the motor sector.
The entrepreneur’s choice, however, is totally against the grain, even if the Facebook leader has shown that he still has a certain eye for high-end cars.
Zuckerberg’s garage surprises everyone
Despite his economic possibilities, Mark Zuckemberg has chosen not to focus on supercars or luxury cars as one would expect. Rather, the entrepreneur’s garage presents more sober and much less expensive models, demonstrating a more economical and very “practical” approach.
Zuckerberg has chosen models that are easy to drive and manage, and perfect for everyday life, without however neglecting quality. In fact, in his garage there are cars costing well under 35 thousand euros. In fact, he was often seen driving his Honda Fit, a model that costs around $17,900 in the United States.
For a sportier drive, Zuckerberg chose a Volkswagen Golf GTI, also in this case with a rather accessible price (around 30,000 euros), just as the price of the Acura TSX is quite economical, another of the jewels of the entrepreneur’s garage, also around 30,000 dollars in price. In short, Zuckerberg has chosen to give up the horsepower and performance of a supercar to choose more functional and less flashy, but still quality cars. While many dream of having the finances to afford a Ferrari, one of the richest men in the world instead chooses much cheaper models. An increasingly widespread trend among the “scrooges”, given that other “colleagues” of Zuckerberg (such as Jeff Bezos for example) seem to have followed the same line.
