Denise Esposito, Gigi D’Alessio’s partner, is a young lawyer from Naples. The two have a 26 year age difference – she is 31, he is 56 – and a son (the artist’s fifth and first with his new girlfriend) born from the fruit of their love, Francesco, who came into the world last January 24: “Francesco, welcome to life“, the singer-songwriter wrote on social media to celebrate the happy event. The two met thanks to a mutual friend in Capri, in 2020, after a concert by the Neapolitan singer. The first wife and the relationship with Anna Tatangelo
In 1986 Gigi D’Alessio married his now ex-wife Carmela Barbato, with whom he had 3 children: Claudio (1986), which made him the grandfather of three grandchildren – Noemi (2007), Sofia (2020) and Giselle (2021), Ilaria, who came into the world in 1992, and Luca, born in 2003 and known as LDA. The marriage with his first wife ended in 2006, when D’Alessio made his romantic relationship with Anna Tatangelo official. To tell the first meeting with the musician, which took place in 2002 (love, however, emerged years later), is precisely the singer: “My father escorted me everywhere and if he saw an artist he forced me to take a photo with him, what a shame. This also happened with Gigi, who then told me: are you the girl who won the Festival? I have a song I’d like you to listen to“. Tatangelo explained that she initially considered him unpleasant: “We met again after a year and Gigi told my father that he wanted to produce me. I disliked him. But in 2005, after ‘Suburban Girl’, we went on a tour of Australia. And I started to see it with different eyes. We had long chats… and we discovered that the antipathy was hiding a liking“. In 2010 the only one was born son of the couple, Andreamuch desired and the fourth by Gigi D’Alessio.
