The Princess of Wales is currently unable to perform public functions as she is undergoing a course of “preventive” chemotherapy. During the school visit, William told a member of staff: “I’m sorry Catherine can’t be here too. She would have loved to do it“. Kate is sorry but determined more than ever to heal and return to her usual life.
Gifts for William and Kate
As People reports, the institute donated to William several gifts to be delivered to Kate Middleton. Like some Lego sunflowers because “building things is therapeutic and sunflowers represent happiness, positivity and strength” and sunflower seeds “to sow seeds of positivity”. “We didn’t want to give flowers but something meaningful that represented the theme of the day”, they announced from the school referring to the day dedicated to mental health.
