Johnny Depp he is evidently in love with Italy: the star of Edward Scissorhands never disdains a trip to our country, and in recent times he has also had the opportunity to experience it more intensely thanks to the filming of Modì, his film on Amedeo Modigliani. So how can you resist the urge to do a bit of daring shopping in the Bel Paese?
As we had already reported to you some time ago, Johnny Depp seemed interested in buying a castle in Italy: nothing too anomalous, after all, given the extravagances to which an actor who certainly does not usually go unnoticed (and who, we imagine, you won’t have too many problems with financial availability).
The object of desire would be the castle of Montalto Dora, located in the province of Turin and with an exceptional sponsor: we are talking about Riccardo Scamarcio, who, according to what was reported by the Washington Post, advised his colleague on the purchase of the majestic building. A non-random choice: Scamarcio, way back in 2006, filmed the miniseries there The Black Arrow with Martina Stella and Jane Alexander.
We’ll see if, finally, our Johnny decides to make the reckless purchase: what is certain, however, is that Modì’s filming seems to have further strengthened the love that Depp already felt for that Italy always ready to welcome him in the best way.
