For the first time since Kate Middleton announced that he had cancer, the Prince William undertook an institutional visit that made 12-year-old Freddie Hadley really happy. William showed up unexpectedly at the school of the very young student, who had sent a message last October letter to the Prince of Wales himself to invite him to see their school mental health initiatives. William, at the time, was forced to decline the invitation but promised to return as soon as possible.

No sooner said than done: William gave little Freddie a wonderful surprise by showing up at school: “I’m here now“, the prince began in front of the child’s amazement. Then he added: “Your letter worked. I’m sorry I couldn’t come to you in October.”
