The Ferrari F430 is not a static display, falling within the concept of a functioning installation that transforms the entire dining room into a place of worship for Ferrari enthusiasts. The F430 berlinetta, launched on the market in 2004, features a powerful 4,308 cc V8 petrol engine. The Cavallino racing car still has respectable performances, boasting 490 CV at 8,500 rpm and 465 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm, 80% of which is below 3,500 rpm.

The F430 represented an important step in the development of the new generation of models in the Ferrari range, inaugurated with the 360 Modena with F1-style innovations. The F430 became the first car in the world to feature theE-Diffan electronic differential and the so-called “manettino” derived from single-seaters which allowed the dynamics of the vehicle to be controlled. Turning it into a watch doesn’t seem like the smartest thing to do.

The Chinese restaurant is known as the 1886 German Car Restaurant, sometimes called 1886 German Automobile Restaurant, with one of its best-known locations referred to as the Bund 13 branch in the Huangpu district of Shanghai, next to the historic Customs area. It markets itself as an automotive-themed venue with German-inspired cuisine, beer, live music and nightlife energy, but why install a legendary Ferrari on the ceiling? Mounted upside down it rotates slowly as part of a mechanism to surprise diners, but wasn’t it better to take it on the track?
