The Pizzeria of the Year 2025-2026 competition doesn’t stop but, rather, he is preparing to warm up the engines, pardon the oven. Even during the holidays, the initiative proceeds to enhance the passion, work and identity of the pizzerias of Vicenza and the province.

There are more than sixty pizzerias in the Vicenza area participating in the initiative. A real journey into the world of pizza that starts from the historic city center and extends into the province, from Upper to Lower Vicenza passing through the Plateau. And so here are Gallio, Sandrigo, Creazzo, Valbrenta, San Vito di Leguzzano, Longare and many others. A large presence that tells of a heterogeneity of visions, ideas and paths that enrich a competition designed to involve and enhance the excellence of the territory.
To date, the numbers speak for themselves: thousands and thousands of points. Figures that are destined to increase, also in light of the week’s pause in the publication of the ranking and thethe release of the maxi coupons which promise surprises and possible changes in view of the next ranking, expected on Wednesday.
The stories
The contest was created to celebrate much more than a simple competition based on votes. His heart is the story: that of pizzerias, lively places that every day smell of dough, dreams and sacrifices. Behind every pizza there is a story made of peoplefamilies and courageous choices, of long nights and floured hands, of passion that becomes a profession.
In recent weeks we have talked about paths that have become symbols, such as the success of Rosario Giannattasio and his Acqua & Farina. And then again the adventure of 21 year old Stefano Cera with his Arte e Pizza in Polegge. Trip to Schio with the La Botte pizzeria and then to the variety of pizzas, from gluten-free to homemade. Different stories, united by the same authentic love for pizza, which will continue to accompany readers until the end of the contest.
The regulations and coupons every day on the GdV
Every day the GdV publishes a 5 point coupon and cut out and fill inindicating your favorite pizzeria and your personal data. Coupons can be delivered directly to the newspaper’s headquarters in via Enrico Fermi 205using the appropriate box at the entrance to the editorial office, or shipped by February 15, 2026.
Those who follow Il Giornale di Vicenza in digital version will be able to also vote online: each vote will be worth one point for Plus subscribers and 5 points for season ticket holders.
At the end of the contest, the pizzeria that receives the greatest number of preferences will win the title of Pizzeria of the yearor 2025/26, together with a Ram Polìn Group professional rounder.
Rewards also for readers
There will also be prizes for readers: two participants who have cast their vote will receive a 150 euro voucher each to be spent in the indicated location, while two other digital subscribers will win a 50 euro voucher.
The draw will take place by March 31st and delivery of prizes will be completed within 180 days. In case of cancellation or non-acceptance, the vouchers will be donated to Food Bank. Because solidarity is also important.
