Following the announcement released on July 9, 2025, NewPrinces and The Kraft Heinz Company announce the completion of the acquisition, by NewPrinces, of 100% of the share capital of the newly established company Plasmon from KHC’s Italian subsidiary, Heinz Italia SpA. The target – continues the note – controls the activities relating to the production, packaging, marketing, sale and distribution of baby food and specialized nutrition products, including the Plasmon, Nipiol, BiAglut, Aproten and Dieterba brands, as well as the production plant in Latina.
The final purchase price of the Transaction was 124.3 million euros, paid entirely in cash. The target business recorded a turnover of approximately 170 million euros and an Ebitda of 17 million euros as of 31 December 2024. The transaction is part of Kraft Heinz’s strategy to drive profitable growth through its Accelerate platforms, which include Heinz Tomato Ketchup and other “Taste Elevation” products, such as mayonnaise, table sauces, culinary products and ready-made sauces. In Italy, Heinz continued to record steady growth in both the Retail channel and the Away from Home channel, significantly increasing its market share in the Taste Elevation category.
