Answer. There is no doubt that Superchargers have better prices than the large national networks. The problem is that many Italians cannot use them, because they don’t have one at hand. Scrolling through the list on the Tesla website, we find that at the moment there are 86, concentrated above all North. The Lombardy ne has 11, il Piedmont 9, l’Emilia Romagna 8 and the Veneto 7. But already in Lazio I am alone 6in Toscana 5. If we then go down to the South, we see that in Campania, Calabria and Sicily hello beautiful 2 per region, less than the small one Aosta Valley (3). It is obvious that Tesla has concentrated installations in the regions where the most electric cars are sold, but even here Superchargers are not always easy for everyone to reach. As for the price comparison, there can only be one explanation: Tesla make money with cars, does not want to make margins with top-ups, which are only part of the system. It resells energy at cost price or a little more, while others want to make profits, this is theirs core business.
