The bonus for purchasing the air conditioner
Also in 2024 it is possible to deduct the costs for the purchase of an air conditioner and those for replacing one with another heat pump. The benefit consists of a deduction between 50% and 70% and takes the form of various tax bonuses: it is therefore important to find the one that best suits your situation. The first is the renovation bonus construction at 50%, which allows a saving of 50% of the expense incurred for the purchase of an air conditioner if it is undergoing renovation or extraordinary maintenance. In this case there is a maximum spending limit and it stands at 96 thousand euros.
The second is the furniture bonus, which gives the right to a 50% Irpef deduction on the purchase of furniture or an air conditioner up to a maximum expenditure limit of 5 thousand euros. Even in this case, however, it is necessary that building renovation works or ordinary maintenance of the property are underway: the start date of the works, moreover, must be prior to that of the purchase of the air conditioners.
Ecobonus and Superbonus
Then there is also the Ecobonus, which gives the right to a 65% Irpef deduction for the purchase of an air conditioner as long as the gas boiler is replaced with a heat pump air conditioner, enabled for cooling and heating.
Finally there is the Superbonus with the Irpef deduction at 70% which concerns only and exclusively those who live in condominiums and applies as part of one of the driving interventions of the Superbonus such as the thermal insulation of surfaces or the replacement of the boiler with centralized condensing systems.
