Telepass, discounts of up to 100% on 16 motorway routes

Let’s tell the truth. Who, among the users of the Telepass service, has never thought how fantastic it was not to be forced to queue at the motorway toll booth and thus save time and stress by passing the barrier in the blink of an eye? Today, among the advantages provided by Telepass there is also the possibility of being able to enjoy significant discounts of up to 100% on certain routes.

The regions where the discount is valid: Lombardy

In recent months there has been a lot of talk about the Telepass and the discussions have animated all those motorists who over the years have appreciated the convenience of the device, especially those commuters who are forced to use their car every day for work reasons. Why so much fuss around Telepass? The company that manages the service has stunned its customers in recent weeks by announcing an increase in the monthly fee. Starting from 1 July 2024 the basic package will go from 1.83 euros to 3.90 euros per month. An increase of 113%, however, justified by numerous exclusive services offered to owners. The media outcry was notable, but to satisfy their customers, Telepass’ management decided to take action a dedicated discount on some motorway sections.

These advantages, however, are reserved exclusively for the following regions: Lombardy, Piedmont, Val D’Aosta, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Liguria, Tuscany and Campania. In Lombardy you can take advantage of a 20% discount on the Pedemontana Lombarda, on the A36 – A59 – A60 routes starting from the sixth day of transit per month, while for those traveling on the BREBEMI/TEEM, routes A35 – A58, it is possible to take advantage of a 30% discount reserved for Full Electric vehicles and heavy vehicles powered by Liquefied Natural Gas. It is necessary to reach at least 2 transits for customers equipped with a Telepass device, and free passage on the Aosta East-Aosta West Saint-Pierre motorway section (and vice versa) is also provided. This discount is reserved for owners of class A vehicles.

The discounts provided in Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige

You can enjoy a 40% discount in Veneto on the Padova Est – Miralo Dolov (CAV) route as long as you are resident in the municipalities of Mirano, Dolo, Mira, Spinea and Pianiga on the Mirano/Dolo – Padova Est route and vice versa with at least 20 transits in one month, while for the Schivio-Valdagno Tunnel the discount is 50% for residents in one of the municipalities indicated by the Tunnel Management Company and applies starting from the 2nd transit with the “VENETA PASS” agreement.
