Hyundai Inster, the first photos of the new electric

The new electric car from Hyundai which will be officially presented at the Mobility Show in Busan (Korea) which opens on 27 June will not be called Casper but Inster.

It was thought that the Korean company could adapt the model already sold in Korea with a combustion engine to electric but the choice was instead to create a new model albeit still derived from the Casper platform. In fact, the Inster could be longer while maintaining city dimensions.

According to the company’s meager statement, the Inster features an electric motor with batteries that they assure up to 355 km of autonomy in WLTP cycle mode and will fit driving aids suitable for the European market where it should arrive by the end of the year.

From the images released, you can see the square lines and the original dot-shaped lights, freely inspired by those of the Ioniq models, while the dimensions developed in height make it particularly suitable for city use.

The arrival of internal combustion engines cannot be ruled out, perhaps to replace the current i10 in the future.

Only hypotheses also for the prices which in any case will have to compete with the Citroen eC3 and therefore they cannot rise too much above 20,000 euros or perhaps even below, assuming versions with more limited autonomy.
