At Lancia, for example, there are many models that the public hopes to see again. Years ago the Italian manufacturer’s list was very vast, now it has been reduced to just the Ypsilon. But soon he will get rich again. The arrival of the prototype Launches Pu+Ra HPE and of new Ypsilon however, they were emblematic of the fact that Stellantis really intends to invest to bring the brand back to its former glory.

Lancia has also formalized the return to the market of an iconic model that has made the history of motoring in Italy. Of course, things will change a lot compared to the last time the car was on the market ten years ago but it will still be an unforgettable remake.

Lancia, the return of the iconic model: everything confirmed

The Italian company is working for bring the Lancia Delta back to the market: well this time it is not fake news or an indiscretion but news that CEO Luca Napolitano himself has directly confirmed. The fourth generation of the Lancia Delta will really happen and we won’t even have to wait that long to drive it.

We can expect a radically different car compared to the classic model we are used to. For starters, the new Delta will be exclusively electric. Furthermore, there is no plan for a rally version like the one that wrote the history of competition in the 80s and 90s. At the moment, Lancia has opted for the Ypsilon HF, a racing gem also developed with the advice of Miki Biasion.

The new Delta should arrive in 2028. In addition to the electric version announced by Napolitano, there could be an electric model, although there is no confirmation on this matter. There is already great curiosity seeing it on the road again. Inevitably, it will be a car that keeps up with the times. We’ll see if, in 2028, the aversion and little following for electric cars will have vanished. The electric turning point now awaits all the models that have made history in Italy. After the 500 and the Ypsilon, next July it will also be the Panda’s turn.
