Hands up to anyone who doesn’t want to drive a Tesla at least once in their life. In fact, these little gems have not only revolutionized the common thought of electric cars (not very efficient until a few years ago), but are known for their strength and resistance on the street. Just think about speed: the Tesla Model S can accelerate 0 to 60 in 2.28 seconds. This is a detail that is incomparable to the competition: the closest competitors can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in at least 3 or 4 seconds.
But this is not the only gem, the design of this type of vehicle far exceeds current standards. Despite this, not even the Tesla S, the protagonist of this story, was able to overcome the absence of its owner for just a month. Although you might think that someone cleverly tried to steal it, things went very differently.
The problem arose in the interior and it all happened inside the garage, the one that was supposed to defend it while awaiting the return of its owner. Car enthusiasts, make yourselves comfortable because these images may offend your sensibilities. Seeing a car like that damaged like that could be heartbreaking, especially knowing that it was the owner’s fault.
Humidity spares no one
Finding your car in these conditions doesn’t please anyone, especially those who own a car of a certain level. In this case, it is assumed that they were inside the Tesla S present damp objects, such as wet clothing or swimsuits, very likely given the summer season in which the event occurred.
These objects, having not been dried adequately before being placed in the car, contributed to the formation of mold. Furthermore, the car parked in an area with a ‘cellar’ effect, typical characteristic of certain car parks, could only aggravate the situation. But what to do in these cases?
The solutions in case of mold inside the car
This is definitely an extreme case, but more common than you might imagine. Obviously, in these circumstances it’s better to be safe than sorry, but if the damage has already been done, that’s all that remains remove mold carefully. However, it must be considered that, although this treatment is very effective at killing mold, it may not completely solve the problem of persistent odors. In extreme cases, only detailing carried out by professionals can save the car from this situation.
