Focus on banking sector stocks after the increases achieved in the previous session. doValue’s leap to the STAR segment stands out

The major Italian Stock Exchange indices and the main European financial markets recorded fractional declines in the last session of the week.

At 11.45 am FTSEMib it lost 0.54% to 34,645 points, after having fluctuated between a minimum of 34,553 points and a maximum of 34,973 points. At the same time the FTSE Italia All Share it was down 0.5%. Fractional changes for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.1%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (+0.21%).

The bitcoin it returned to 71,000 dollars (just under 65,500 euros).

The Btp-Bund spread it consolidates above 130 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP exceeding 3.9%.

L’EUR it stands just under 1.09 dollars.

Negative performance for Popular from Sondrio (-0.42% to 7.08 euros).

Profit taking up Iveco Group (-2.53% to 11.365 euros).

doValue recorded an increase of 4.46% to 2.296 euros. The company announced that it has signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Gardant for a value of 230 million euros in cash (including 50 million relating to the refinancing of net financial debt). Furthermore, the operation provides for a capital increase reserved for Gardant shareholders of a 20% stake in the combined group to be issued at a premium to doValue’s current stock market price, in addition to a market capital increase, for a total of 150 million, with option rights for new and existing shareholders.
