Along with two fold-flat third-row seats, the CX-80 will be offered with three possible configurations of the second rowincluding having two independent armchairs with a console in the center or with a central corridor.

As in the case of the CX-60, the wide instrument panel and the side air vents that flow into the door trim reinforce the width and spaciousness of the passenger compartment. The very thick console has a powerful shape that crosses the space from front to rear, expressing both structural solidity and the presence of the powertrain underneath, with eight-speed automatic transmission and engine mounted longitudinally in front of it.

The back of the console is equipped with USB ports and heating controls to improve rear seat comfort. The rear seat console has evolved into a more integrated form, with the addition of metallic trim that matches the front console and door trims to create a cohesive space.

The technology available

The new Mazda CX-80 is packed with technology to fill its role as the flagship of Mazda’s European range and includes three new features: the new Alexa voice control in the cockpit, which can be activated with the order “Hey Alexa“, a new hybrid navigation system which combines the advantages of offline and online services, and finally the new system Trailer Hitch Viewwhich uses the central display and advanced graphics to help position the car in relation to a trailer.

L’e-Skyactiv D which develops 249 HP, is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 219 km/h. Average fuel consumption is 5.7-5.8 l/100 km with CO emissions2 equal to 148-151 g/km. Not bad for a vehicle of this size and stage presence. An excellence for those who are attentive to consumption and want a car to cover many kilometers with ease and ease.

Both powertrains are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive system of Mazda. The system Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive), already introduced on the CX-60, offers the possibility to choose between four driving modes (plus EV mode for the PHEV).
