EssilorLuxottica record bonus for its employees: over 4,000 euros gross

Luxottica’s bonus for its employees continues to grow. As highlighted yesterday in an official note, the company declared that this year the performance bonus can reach up to 4,100 euros gross or over 4,400 euros gross, if the employee chooses to convert the amount into welfare goods and services. We are talking about a gross value of over 36.3 million euros, up 14% compared to last year, also thanks to an increasingly inclusive incentive and calculation system.

“The redistribution of corporate productivity is an important part which, connected to shared work-life balance actions, demonstrates how corporate social sustainability not only can be achieved but becomes added value in terms of industrial relations at every level” , comment the National Secretaries of Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl and Uiltec Uil, respectively Sonia Tosoni, Raffaele Salvatoni and Benedetta Missaglia.

Proud Piergiorgio Angeli, chief people officer of EssilorLuxottica added: “With this performance bonus, the largest in value we have ever awarded, we once again recognize the essential contribution of our workers to the growth and success of the company. Giving value and dignity to their work, while supporting the competitiveness of our activities in constantly evolving economic and social contexts, remains a priority for the group, in the wake of our welfare tradition. In this development path focused on people and their needs, the quality of our industrial relations in Italy allows us on every occasion to experiment with new paths and innovations to interpret the continuous evolution of the meaning of work”, he added.
