New Lancia Ypsilon: the car’s Italian tour ended on a happy note
Descriptive text here

It touched 60 cities in 20 regions. Now, after 12 thousand kilometers travelled, the Italian tour from the New Lancia Ypsilon has reached its epilogue, in the city of Turin. We can talk about a return home, after the long trip to the Bel Paese, which started in February from Milan. Thus the car was admired around, giving its features and qualities to the scrutiny of people.

The roadshow, which began immediately after the presentation of the exclusive Cassina limited edition, went according to plan. The New Lancia Ypsilon stopped at the first 100 dealers of the brand who have already embraced the new Corporate Identity. In total, 8,000 people were invited to the stores, collecting 4,000 expressions of interest.

The first cars in the range will be available at dealers “Lancia House” by the end of May. We can hypothesize a large number of visits to the exhibition spaces, to discover this model more closely, which arouses a certain level of curiosity.

After Italy, the debut of the New Lancia Ypsilon will take shape, in the “social” dimension, in Belgium and Holland. Then it will be the turn of France and Spain. It shouldn’t be many months before we reach these last two places too. In Germanythe car will arrive next year.

New Lancia Ypsilon wants to open an era

The Stellantis & You dealership in Turin was the final stop of the Italian tour we told you about. Here the guests were able to admire up close the car that aims to ferry the Turin brand of the Stellantis galaxy into theera of electrification.

We’re talking about a hatchback Premium B segment 5 doors and 5 seats, longer, wider and with larger rims than the current Ypsilon. These features give the car an elegant and futuristic connotation. In the stylistic code of the model, the eyes of enthusiasts are captivated by the round geometries of the rear light clusters, which clearly evoke those of the legendary Stratos.

As well as in the version 100% electricthe New Lancia Ypsilon will be available in the much more practical variant hybrid, destined, in my opinion, to make up the bulk of the model’s sales volumes. With 117 years of history behind it, in which it has elevated itself to a symbol of Italian elegance, Lancia now aims to get back on the right path, after some missteps.

The Turin-based car manufacturer is ready to begin its Renaissance with a 10-year strategic plan that is proceeding at full speed. We’ll see what it leads to. The New Lancia Ypsilon, as the CEO underlines Luca Napolitano, represents a new beginning and the first step towards making Lancia a desirable, respected and credible brand in the European premium market. Will he succeed? The market will have the verdict.
