New Fiat Pandina, domination in the A segment will be total: design, engines, prices and news for Christmas 2025

New Fiat Pandina is one of the most anticipated innovations among those that will be proposed by Fiat over the next few years. His debut according to rumors will take place between 2028 and 2029 and apparently nothing will ever be the same again. Indeed the heir of the current Panda it will be a truly unique car and with its advent Fiat will truly dominate the A segment.

The car will not only try to continue in the wake of the current Panda in terms of sales numbers and market shares but will even try to further improve things for Fiat. After all, we are talking about a car that will have global significance and will also be marketed in North Africa and South America most likely by another name.

Fiat is sure it has what it takes for true domination in the A segment with the new Fiat Pandina

New Fiat Pandina barring sensational earthquakes, it will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano on the same line in which it is currently produced the Pandina of today, a line that will obviously be renovated and made suitable to accommodate the production of this new model which will be born on a new platform different from that of the current model and will be built according to the most modern technologies available in the automotive sector at the moment.

However, the dimensions will not change and will remain more or less the same as today, guaranteeing a clear differentiation compared to the Fiat Grande Panda from which however this car will derive by collecting many design elements seen in this model and here reinterpreted in a model that should measure 3.6 meters long more or less.

The new Fiat Pandina will be a tribute to the first generation of Panda, the one from the very early 1980s designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. So to recap on the design side there will be many references to the Big Panda but also some retro elements to pay homage to the famous ancestor who started a truly unique story regarding the Turin company.

As for the range of engines of the new Fiat Pandina the presence of electric motors is certain and will represent the fulcrum of the future model range. However, there will be no pure heat engines. With increasingly restrictive European emissions standards, a petrol version would risk costing more than an electric one. Some more hope for the hybrid but we will also need to understand what will happen in the coming years in Europa.

As far as prices are concerned, the new Fiat Pandina will be a highly competitive car. It is said that the hybrid version, if there is one, could even cost more less than 12 thousand euros net of incentives and promotions. As for the electric one, the imperative will be to start it from less than 15 thousand euros while also providing good autonomy.

With this car Fiat thinks it has what it takes to defeat the increasingly fierce competition with the advent of numerous Chinese car manufacturers without forgetting also fearsome European rivals such as Dacia or Citroen itself, which is expected to launch an A segment in the next few years.
