And the narrator, who has the calm tone of a science communicator, seems to want to be apparently neutral and objective on the arguments for and against electricity. The reality is obviously very different. Toyota describes itself as ready to market a hydrogen engine, but of a thermal and not electrical type. And to do so, an engine developed in 2022 is cited for prototypes used in Motor sports.
Hydrogen with the Mirai was a flop…
In reality, Toyota has focused on electric-based hydrogen, which is certainly more efficient. Answer- The only thing we risk killing by letting this news filter out is the already laughable sale of Toyota electric cars. The bZ4X SUV it’s a colossal flop, and it’s none of the EVs produced with the Lexus brand have achieved memorable success, far from it.
