MUMAC, the Cimbali Group Coffee Machine Museum, announces the first edition of the MUMAC Book Week: books and authors at the museuma series of cultural meetings dedicated to the presentation of books, which will be held in the second week of July.

The objective of this initiative is the promotion of culture and reading within a museum setting of excellence.

The calendar of events for July

– Tuesday 9 July, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the author Sara Pupillo presents her book published by Emons Edizioni. This collection explores the most interesting design places in Milan, also including MUMAC. Discussing this guide means observing Milan through a unique lens: an infinite number of details will help create a vision of an extraordinary city, an open-air museum that celebrates one of the most innovative arts of the twentieth century: design.

Free entry followed by independent visits to the museum and aperitif.

– Thursday 11 July, from 4.30pm to 7pm, the author Daniele Bacchi presents his book published by Edizioni Este. The world of work is constantly evolving and finding the right person for the right position is more crucial than ever. The book, written in the form of a compelling novel, explores the modern challenges of the HR role through the eyes of Teresa, an HR Manager dealing with a rapidly changing professional environment. The event is part of a series of meetings organized at excellent local companies and is aimed at Human Resources professionals and People Managers.

Entrance by reservation at the link Presentation of the book “Once upon a time there was research and selection” by Daniele Bacchi – Edizioni Este. Followed by guided tours of the museum and aperitif.

– Friday 12 July, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the author Beppe Conti presents his book published by Minerva Edizioni. A tale that explores the triumphs, tragedies, historic feats, secrets and mysteries of the Tour de France from 1903 to the present day. From Garin to Coppi, from Merckx to Nibali, the book tells the story of the greatest legends protagonists of the most important race in the world. For the occasion, in collaboration with the Ghisallo Museum, the yellow shirts of Eddy Merckx (Faema team) and Tadej Pogacar will be exhibited, together with historical documents from the MUMAC Archive.
