Piazzetta del Professore, in front of the Sirena Pier, will host the “Book Fair”, the usual space dedicated to independent publishing foreseen within the SquiLibri Festival (21-23 June) of Francavilla al Mare, born from a idea of ​​the artistic director Peppe Millanta and organized by the Municipality of Francavilla with the mayor Luisa Russo and the councilor for Culture Cristina Rapino.

The publishers who will participate are Capire edizioni, Cartacanta editore, Carthusia, Carabba publishing house, Chiaredizioni, Cliquot, Del Vecchio Editore, Di Felice Edizioni, Drakon Edizioni, Edicola Ediciones, Edizioni Del Baldo, Edizioni Malamente, Edizioni Menabò – D’Abruzzo, Evoè Edizioni, Funambolo edizioni, Ianieri Edizioni, IFIX, Il viandante, Italo Svevo, Jimenez Edizioni, Lab DFG Editore, Mimi Mami – Creative Sewing, Miraggi Edizioni, More Nocturne Books, NEO. EDITIONS, Nolica Edizioni, Oligo Editore, Quid Edizioni, Racconti Edizioni, Radici Edizioni, readerforblind, Sellerio Editore, Tempesta Editore, Terre di Mezzo Editore, Uovonero.

“The Book Fair returns for the third year, increasing the number of participating publishers. Old festival friendships are renewed and new ones are made. This year’s pride is not only that of having managed to involve 35 publishing houses from all over Italy, but also that of having managed to involve many local booksellers. We are happy to give space to all the realities that want to participate in this real book festival Abruzzo, to give space to local publishers, to publishing for children, and to emphasize how books are a living material, which creates a network and shortens distances between people”, explains Elisa Quinto, who he directs the Macondo School in Pescara.

The Fair will also host presentations: those scheduled from 5pm to 7pm will be held at the Blu Bar and those from 8.30pm to 9.30pm will be hosted in the Sirena Foyer. Here are the appointments.
