A phrase, an emotion, a poem but also advice, a suggestion: the important thing is to write because writing is therapeutic.
Donatella, a member of Doppia Elica, is convinced of this and donated a lectern made by her husband Davide with a white paper to the Breast Center of the Parma University Hospital to invite patients to leave a mark on the paper.
“When I was touched by the problem – explains Donatella – I felt and felt that writing was therapeutic, it brought out what I had inside and for this reason I suggest women who have this experience to try writing. I wanted to add some bookmarks thanks to the support of the La Doppia Elica association which are a small gift for those who leave us a thought of her.”
Welcoming your donation and greeting what has become a friend is the manager of the Breast Center Cecilia D’Aloia, who together with Doctor Gabriele Reni are advisors to the Double Helix, with the medical, technical and nursing staff. “For us it is useful to have feedback on how women find themselves – stated Cecilia D’Aloia, thanking her for her thoughtfulness towards patients and staff –. It is in our interest both when they are in our service, when they are waiting and in the relationship with us. It can be useful for our growth. So every lady is invited to express her emotions.”
