Wednesday 5 June, at 6.45pm, at Grand Central Literary Festival, organized bySilvia Scagnetto and promoted by the bistro Grand CentralOf Mestre,
the presentation of the book will be held The Devil’s Breath written by Nicola Gallo And
published by Mazzanti Books at the beginning of 2024. He will dialogue with the author Nadia Aguglia, local police officer.

Nicola Gallo He is a forty-eight year old from Chioggia who has worked in the local police for more than twenty years. The first editorial experience in 2017, with the publishing house Mazzanti Booksleads Nicola to write a technical-legal manual and then, thanks also to a decade of experience as a trainer of young contestants and in the updating of local police operators in legal matters, he always publishes with Mazzanti Books his first mystery novel “Clodia”set in a city that is very reminiscent of the beautiful Chioggiaand presented to Grand Central Literary Festivallast year.

Lieutenant Marco Dalla Costa’s new investigation involves an unusual collaboration between police forces from different territories, and leads the young lieutenant to deal with a criminal who turns out to be capable of going unnoticed like a ghost. The nature of the crimes and the different investigative techniques practiced in the difficult manhunt seem to lead only to dead ends, despite the lieutenant also having another new young colleague in his team. Traditional investigative techniques supported by modern profiling will lead Lieutenant Dalla Costa to incessant hours of reasoning and deductions sometimes in conflict with each other. Only a good glance and great intuition can make the difference.

During the meeting, it will be possible to purchase copies of the book and the author will make himself available for dedications and signatures; it will also be possible for participants to practice the book-crossing, exchanging a book brought from home with one of those made available by the other customers. Entrance is free but booking is recommended via Eventbrite or by contacting Grand Centralwhich will simultaneously be operational as a bar, restaurant and pizzeria. Those who cannot attend in person will be able to follow the event thanks to the live streaming visible within the Facebook group
Mestre Mia. The event will be held even in case of bad weather.
