The books of Officine Gutenberg and the new Low publishing house at the Turin Fair

Returns from May 9th to 13th Turin International Book Fair and this year too Piacenza will be represented by the publishing house and social cooperative Gutenberg Workshops. For the Piacenza area, the important Turin event has become a fixed appointment to bring a bit of Piacenza to one of the most awaited literary events in Italy by readers and professionals. Also for this new edition Officine Gutenberg will be present to bring its books telling Piacenza through its stories, its places, its people and its uniqueness.

From novels to typical cuisine, passing through the inevitable Marsupio Guides that take us through the valleys of our province, the last only from a temporal point of view is the “Alta Val Trebbia” collection, Officine Gutenberg will be present at the Oval Pavilion on the stand for five days T78 by Alleanza Cooperative. However, this will be a special edition for Officine Gutenberg because for the first time, in addition to the strongly Piacenza books, there will be those of LOW Editions, the new editorial adventure of the publishing house. Born in October 2023, “LOW” aims to enter the national publishing panorama through titles which, as the name itself suggests, start from the bottom, using a non-screaming tone, telling hidden stories, a little on the margins, but which are precisely the ones it aims to discover and tell.

To celebrate this unique edition, Officine Gutenberg and Edizioni LOW have scheduled four presentations in three days of the Salone:

– Friday 10 May at 11am at the Alleanza delle Cooperative Italiane stand – Oval Pavilion T78: We have always had a song in our ears with the author Emiliano Raffo.

– Saturday 11 May at 5pm at the Alleanza delle Cooperative Italiane stand – Oval Pavilion T78: A year underground with the authors Daniela Palumbo and Andrea Mattei.

– Sunday 12 May at 11am at the Alleanza Cooperative stand – Oval Pavilion T78: Extramundi with the author Daniel Di Schuler.

– Sunday 12 May at 5.30 pm in the Sala Malva: Starting again from here – Giovanni Battista Menzani and Gabriele Dadati, together with the authors: Lorenzo Calza, Giampaolo G. Rugo, Giuliano Pavone, Lucia Tilde Ingrosso, Antonio Paolacci, Paola Ronco, Marco Peroni.
