Bitter fate.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 7 May at 5pm, the book of poems Amaro destiny by Marco Veronese will be presented. The South Tyrolean author recounts his twenty-year experience as an alcoholic, the dark periods and fears, but also the strength to fight to escape addiction and the goals achieved through poetry and thanks to the help of the Hands Therapeutic Center for alcohol addictions, drugs and gambling in Bolzano.
Partisans.
Not saints but fighters. The book Partigiani will be presented on Thursday 9 May at 5pm. Not saints but fighters by Corrado Leoni, who will talk with the president of Anpi Trentino Mario Cossali. The novel, set in the ancient land of Lunigiana, stands out for a sociological narrative of the Resistance, which manages to convey the overall attitude of an entire community in every facet.
The alchemist of the lagoon.
On Friday 10 May at 5pm the book The Alchemist of the Lagoon by Paolo Lanzotti will be presented, who will discuss together with Lorenzo Caoduro, librarian and cultural operator for the Library. The story, set in mid-eighteenth-century Venice, begins in a villa along the Brenta Riviera with the death of the young nobleman Enrico Albrizi. It would appear to be suicide, but some disturbing circumstances suggest that the young man was involved in a satanic ceremony. Marco Leon is called in to solve the case, who in the meantime is investigating a series of strange erotic drawings. Having arrived at Villa Zulian, Leon realizes that Enrico Albrizi has most likely been killed. When a second murder occurs, Marco suspects that the trail to follow goes well beyond the walls of the villa and that perhaps his investigation into the erotic drawings has something to do with it.
