On May 5th, from 10am to 7pm, the castle of Montorio (Vr) will host the second edition of “Libri in Castello”, a microfestival dedicated to books with particular attention to the city and the territory. The event is free to attend.
Throughout the day, the castle will become a large open-air bookshop with book presentations but also the possibility of free guided tours inside the castle.
The books presented will be “Mouse After. Story of a latecomer mouse” by Alessandra Melegatti and Nicola Brusco, “Not at all easy but possible” Dravet Italia Onlus edited by Lorena Carella, “Not everyone sleeps” by Sabrina Ginocchio and Elisabetta Micheloni, “Understanding the mind. Beyond the symptom. A look at the world in the daily experience of a doctor” by Luigi Trabucchi, “A sui generis companion poet. The theatrical activity of Francesco Albergati Capacelli in the second half of the eighteenth century” by Elena Zilotti e “Jerusalem again” by Sandra Manzella.
The presentations will take place under the trees of the castle’s “bastia” and, in case of bad weather, in the powder magazine. From 11am to 7pm in the “bastia” a book exhibition-market will be set up, curated by Il Rio Edizioni and Cartoleria Mameli.
Participation in the events is free and, with a contribution of 10 euros you are entitled to a book selected by the staff and a glass of beer. It is forbidden to bring food and drinks inside the castle, while a paid restaurant, bar and cafeteria service will be set up.
