The presentation of the historical novel “The Conversion of Constantine” by La Vita Felice Editore 2024 is scheduled for Saturday 27 April at 5pm at the Bordighera Tennis Club, in via Stoppani 15.
The event is organized by the Amicolibro bookshop in Bordighera. Introduced by Doriana Valesini of the Amicolibro bookshop, speaker will be Nanni Perotto.

I came across a sheet of paper citing a historical source at a used book market Chronica Pisonum, the author and protagonist of the novel becomes involved in events bigger than himself and accepts the invitation to go to someone he, never, ever, could have met, or only hoped to do so; that is, a well-known Roman figure who would hit the news shortly thereafter. Here you are in essence, the plot of a novel by an author who, retracing the genesis of the two previous chapters of the trilogy, Epistle to Tiberius and Janus of Nero’s Wrath, finds himself writing, in a third, the final word to a long research process among historical sources. He tries to reconstruct, using the currently unknown source, the history of the alleged conversion of the Emperor Constantine, Emperor who, starting from the battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312 and then from the Edict of Milan in 313, and the Council of Nicaea in 325 will be considered the founder of the Christian Empire. But is the plot, that is, the reality of the facts narrated, exactly this? Renato Carlo Miradoli was born in Milan in 1967.
Graduated in Classics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in 1997. He was a teacher of English and Italian for foreigners at the Bocconi University of Milan, SDA, MIMEC Master, Polytechnic of Milan, MIP Master of the Polytechnic, at institutions and companies multinational and national customers. He lives and works in Milan.
He is the author of the historical novels of the Chronica Pisonum saga: Epistle to Tiberius – La Vita Felice – 2020 (First Place in the national Equilibri prize 2020) and Janus, of Nero’s anger – La Vita Felice – 2021 (Special Prize of the Gregorian Residences Jury) and The Conversion of Constantine – The Happy Life – February 2024.
