Saturday 27 Aprilat 6 pm, in the garden of the Pinacoteca Moretti in Civitanova Alta (in case of rain in the Sala Ciarrocchi), the book of poems by Sergio Carlacchianiby title DADAADALDA.


The event, with free entry, will feature Maurizio Soldini (doctor, philosopher and poet) and Claudio Nalli (teacher of art history at Camerino high schools) as speakers, who will discuss with the author the themes of the book.


The volume is published by RPlibri of San Giorgio del Sannio (BN), the house with which Carlacchiani has published three voluminous books of poetry in recent years: Indiscretions from the fort (June 2020), Will (June 2022) and, indeed, DADAADALDA. This last book is dedicated to his loving friendship, the poet Alda Merini. During the presentation on Saturday 27 April, for the first time after Merini’s death, Sergio Carlacchiani will briefly recall his past with her.

Born in Macerata in 1959, Sergio Carlacchiani he is a performer, actor, voice actor, poet and painter. Artistic director of various theater shows, he has worked on linear, visual, concrete, sound poetry and mail art. He published in 1979, Poems, Gabrielli Editore, Rome; in 1983, Word Paintings; in 1987; the book-folder Word pictures 2; in 2020 Indiscretions from the fort and in 2022 Will, RPlibri. He trained as an actor at the Minimo Teatro school in Macerata. He obtained a diploma in setting, use of the voice and film dubbing technique in Rome. Among the many recitals held, the two in Recanati, at the Colle dell’Infinito, on 29 June 2010, and 2014 on the occasion of the Leopardian Celebrations are worth mentioning. In 2011, Casa Leopardi (Giacomo & Giacomo SRL) released the cd O gracious moon, I remember… which sees Carlacchiani reciting the best songs of the poet from Recanati. The actor has created a sort of Sound Library through his YouTube channel Aloud which can count more than forty thousand of its interpretations involving poets and famous people from all the countries of the world. In July 2021, in Civitanova, he presented his anthological exhibition: The sublime and bestial creative fever.
