The Chamber of Deputies at the Turin Book Fair

AGI – The Chamber of Deputies will be at the Turin Book Fair, with its own space at the stand of the Ministry of Education and Merit and with eight events dedicated to: knowledge of parliamentary activity, the fundamental principles of the Constitution, history of women’s suffrage in Italy.

At Lingotto the Chamber will be present in the Oval Pavilion, at stand U177. Montecitorio staff will welcome the public and distribute brochures, publications and in-depth material on the Chamber’s activities.

The agenda of the meetings

The cycle of events will begin on Thursday 9 May at 11.30, with “Tutti in Aula”, the story of the visits to the Chamber for the younger students. At 12.30 “Dentro la Camera”: the days in Montecitorio will be illustrated for secondary school students.

An in-depth meeting on the functions of the Chamber and the legislative process is scheduled for Friday 10 May at 3.30 pm.

On Saturday 11th the following will be presented: the podcast (https://giovani.camera.it/podcast/voto-alle-donne) dedicated to the history of women’s suffrage in Italy (11.30 am) and the publications of the Chamber, including parliamentary documents, series and documentary resources for schools (3.30pm).

On Sunday 12 May at 11.30 in the center there will be a story of the history and work of the deputies to the Constituent Assembly, the subject of a specific podcast available on the youth.camera.it portal.

Monday 13 May – last day of the Show – the closing will be dedicated to the fundamental principles of the Constitution (1.30pm) and a new meeting dedicated to the Chamber, its functions and the legislative process (3.30pm).
