Yesterday afternoon, the Impremix Edizioni stand present at the “Books in the Square” publishing event held in Rivoli was literally stormed by the public’s enthusiasm for the food blogger. Gabriele “Rapanello” Cattarin arrived in the city for the initiative and for a fleeting “signacopie” of his volume “Do as you wish…”.
From Varese, he has 600 thousand followers on his blog “Rapanello and his cuisine” and on his YouTube channel. The book “Do as you wish…” collects his best recipes, dedicated to a heterogeneous public, made by those who have time to get to the stove and create dishes with a certain care and by those who would like to cook but don’t have the time and which often lacks imagination.
The strength of Rapanello’s recipes is precisely their simplicity and, as he himself explains, “proposing dishes that have a lot of flavor by choosing the quality of the ingredients, few, genuine and available which, to be prepared, require nothing else other than what everyone knows we have in our kitchen.”
In line not only ladies who love cooking but men who have discovered, thanks to the “Rapanello method”, a little talent with ladles and pots, young couples who cook together on weekends following recipes from YouTube, singles always in a hurry.
Gabriele Cattarin, for them, is part of the family in all respects; with his videos, he has entered thousands of Italian homes. It’s a friend waiting in the kitchen.
