“Nothing is an obstacle if you do it with love, passion and perseverance. And always with an eye towards the common good.” This is the heart of the message of ‘Passion theorem’, autobiography of Mariastella Giorlandinoas explained by the author herself during the presentation of the book at the Mondadori store in Piazza del Duomo, Milan. Exceptional testimonial, the singer-songwriter Al Bano, who also sang some verses of ‘Cara terra mia’ for the audience present. The first chapter of the book, in fact, starts from the ‘invisible strength of roots’, the family and cultural ones, as underlined by the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara in the message read by his political advisor Vincenzo Mannino. The other aspect of the book highlighted by Valditara is the “passion” from which the book takes its title, “a necessary propellant – according to the minister – to contribute to the teaching and education of children”. “This book is dedicated to my son Fabio Massimo. It was born from the desire to be able to leave something to today’s kids, who are often disoriented. I feel a lot of superficiality around, and being able to give young people and also parents an idea of how they can help them is fundamental. Before I did it through painting, now with words,” said Giorlandino.

And in this sense the book aims to be a “compass” to guide children and parents. “With Mariastella we shared the music of the soul, the one that speaks louder than words. We started from nothing and with passion and love many of us managed to get where we never thought”, observed Al Bano. Mariastella Giorlandino has been working in the healthcare universe for 40 years, dealing with the evolution of society and its needs. Architect, painter, entrepreneur, administrator of Rete Artemisia Lab, in this book she lays herself bare by talking about her personal story and her approach to life and work, but also about the world of healthcare and politics. “Passion theorem. Stories and ideas of a manager who governs the present and plans the future”, published by Mondadori, ends with greetings from Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Simona, Rossella, Fiamma and Giuppy Izzo, Pino Insegno and Al Bano. Melania Rizzoli and Daniela Javarone also participated in the Milanese presentation.
