The Musicians and Great Italians neighborhood, in collaboration with the Anffas Association of Forlì, launches an initiative that celebrates inclusion and diversity: the photo competition “Our neighborhood, inclusive neighborhood”. “It is an event open to all citizens and aims to highlight good practices related to the right to inclusion in our neighborhood – it is explained – the competition invites participants to reflect on the theme of social inclusion, capturing with their cameras. mobile moments that highlight the attention to differences and the integration of people in the social context. Each citizen will be able to take a photo and send it to the email address [email protected]. The most representative photographs will receive prizes in spendable shopping vouchers in the neighborhood shops.”

“The photos will be exhibited at the former “I Portici” shopping center, transforming this space into a meeting place and contributing to its redevelopment – it is illustrated -. This project will not only give visibility to the works of the participants, but will also offer the opportunity to collectively reflect on the importance of social inclusion. The competition will end with the awards ceremony during the final event on May 31st at 6pm at the headquarters of the Anffas Association in Forlì. On that occasion, certificates of participation will be given and the photographs that stand out for their beauty and content will be rewarded. It will be a moment of celebration and sharing, underlining the importance of inclusion and community involvement. This initiative is an opportunity for citizens to become more aware observers of the reality around them, promoting a critical and positive vision of their neighborhood. Photography, as a powerful and immediate tool, helps to convey without filters what the neighborhood offers in terms of social inclusion”.
