The architect and designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte has redesigned the famous Sammode tubular lamp: here is the presentation of this new tool. The Quadratube retains all the clever features of Jean-Michel Wilmotte’s original design, but now also boasts modern technology and excellent manufacturing. The goal is to provide visual comfort and very high quality lighting.
“Thanks to Quadratube we have managed to redesign the very concept of tubular device, faithful to our historical model and at the same time capable of opening new paths“. Only after meticulous work on adapting all the components was it possible to obtain the final shape.

“All the original components are still there,” says a satisfied Emmanuel Gagnez. “A transparent body, but rectangular rather than cylindrical. The two fastening straps traditionally used to secure the body are replaced by two jumpers. The internal plate that holds the driver, the optical accessories and, finally, the two internal caps that are located next to the jumpers rather than at the two ends of the tubular device. With the launch of the Quadratube, Jean-Michel Wilmotte managed to maintain the identity of Sammode, while marketing a completely new device“.
