The logo A2A come alive and evolves, becoming one dynamic graphic representation, capable of transforming and telling the many souls of the Life Company: environment, water, energy, circularity. The historian number 2 will leave room for different graphic elementscapable of showing their many activities, values, strategy of the Group: from the two wind turbines synonymous with renewable energy, to the plastic bottles that remind us how waste can become resources, up to the drops of water.

“We wanted to make the A2A logo lively and contemporary without distorting our identity. Thanks to the dynamism of the internet the most iconic symbol of the Group becomes a Live Logoa ‘doodle’ capable of transforming itself and telling all the ways in which we are a Life Company that takes care of the environment, water and energy”, comments Carlotta VenturaChief Communications, Sustainability and Regional Affairs Officer of A2A, adding “we decided to involve the young students of POLI.design and NABA for the Design Week to tell how they see the Group starting from the two pillars of our strategy, the circular economy and the energy transition”.

The students of the MAC Laboratoriominiera Master of POLI.designPolytechnic of Milan and the Three-year course in Graphic Design and Art Direction at NABANew Academy of Fine Arts were invited to participate in a contest to creatively reinterpret the A2A logo led by the Italian cartoonist and illustrator Bianca Bagnarelli.

Among all the participants were selected ten reworkingswhich together with the “author’s” one by Bagnarelli will be revealed at the 2024 edition of the Milan Design Week. Visible to the public from 15 to 21 April at “Solferino 28”, the appointment with design organized by Corriere della Sera, Living and Abitare in Milan, A2A’s Live Logos will come to life inside
of the installation “The city is a mine: Design, Dismantle, Disseminate” signed by the studio Mario Cucinella Architects.
