Playful shapes and a touch of glamor for this house in Vancouver

«A masterclass in child-proof design». With this funny expression, Gillian Segal loves to describe his home to Vancouverin the neighborhood of Kitsilano, a building built in 2017. Because the designer is the creator of this splendid residence in which clean lines with a contemporary taste meet a happy mix of inspirations. The house is a striking blend of Art Deco, combining playful shapes with an inviting and graceful touch of glamour.

A baby girl on the way, a new home

Designing her home from scratch was like a dream come true, a unique opportunity for Gillian Segal to experiment with new design solutions. Between the challenges of motherhood and professional commitments, Gillian has masterfully designed a childproof shelter, a perfect fusion of personal creativity and functional design. «This is my full-time home, conceived and designed for me, for Adammy husband, and our two daughters Gigi and Coco and, not to forget, our Pomeranian Bambi», says Gillian Segal. “We were excited about the opportunity to create a home for our growing family. When we purchased the land they had only one daughter, we had the second after the final move.”
