Quartirolo DOP diced in oil with aromas, the new arrival from Arrigoni Battista

The Bergamo dairy Arrigoni Battista, founded in 1914 in Pagazzano, celebrates its 110th anniversary by launching a new product with the celebratory brand “Battista 1914” dedicated to the name of the company’s founder and the year of foundation. The new addition to the dairy is Quartirolo DOP diced in oil with flavourings, which is particularly aimed at the foreign market thanks to a shelf life of 23 months which allows for the simplified export of fresh Quartirolo Lombardo DOP.

Alongside this novelty, there is also a series of initiatives aimed at stakeholders and employees, national and international fairs and the “Dinner with Arrigoni Battista” gastronomic tour, scheduled for 2024 to celebrate the milestone with an eye towards the future.

Arrigoni Battista S.pA. has always been family-run and today is carried on by the fourth generation led by the President and CEO Marco Arrigoni, with the precious work of more than 100 employees and collaborators. Leader in the Italian and foreign dairy market, the company today exports its products to 36 countries around the world. In 2023, 50 million euros in turnover was reached, 30% of which is represented by exports, an area where constant growth is expected, also trusting in the positive reception of Quartirolo DOP diced in oil with flavourings, made in nine versions (at natural, with herbs, pepper, ginger, turmeric, curry, chili pepper, truffle and finally chili peppers stuffed with Quartirolo DOP and artichokes) which enriches the Arrigoni Battista production range consisting of over 20 types of cheeses.

Innovation is central for Arrigoni Battista which has always protected the territory through care of the final product and an integrated supply chain (from raw material to packaging), a strong and concrete attention to sustainability and constant Research and Development activity in the factory, an activity that allowed us to be among the forerunners in Italy in the creation of our own organic line 20 years ago, to put Sweet Gorgonzola DOP on the market to be served with a spoon 15 years ago – a path followed by many – and to create the Unici line , a family of exclusive cheeses, much loved by consumers, born from the expertise of Arrigoni Battista’s master cheesemakers (including Rossini, Lucifero and BerghemBlu).
