From 11 to 19 May 2024, the Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage Promotion Days promoted by the CEI (National Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage and Religious Buildings) will take place throughout Italy. In particular, this year we remember the 40th anniversary of the Concordat with the initiative: “XL Concordat, 40 years of agreements and projects for the promotion of ecclesiastical cultural heritage”. The revision of the Concordat and the introduction of the 8×1000 to the Catholic Church have offered the basis for renewed collaboration and the construction of understandings, agreements and services for the promotion of culture at the service of the country. Guided tours are planned at the Capitolare Library at 10am (registration required: [email protected]) and at the City of Reggio Theological Library at 10am and 11am (no registration required). The objective is to raise awareness of these two cultural realities with their heritage and their services.
