Among the most loved Italian singing groups there are certainly the tenors of Il Volo. The artists are much loved, yet recently they have been victims of a veritable barrage of criticism. However, the trio did not sit idly by and responded in kind, with Piero in particular being quite aggressive.

The singers they took part in the latest edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song Capolavoro, and although they only finished eighth, the piece turned out to be a real success, and is still widely played on Italian radio. Il Volo, a trio composed of Ignazio Boschetto, Gianluca Ginoble and Piero Barone, has been popular for 15 years now. The group was formed in 2009, after the three took part individually in the show Ti lascio una canzone hosted by Antonella Clerici.
The director of the show, Roberto Cenci, immediately noticed their talent, and had the intuition to unite them, making them perform together during the episodes. This caught the attention of an old fox like Tony Renis, who didn’t think twice before introducing them to Geffen Records mogul Jimmy Iovine. The boys were then signed by the US major for two million dollarsand they began their amazing career, even opening at the concerts of a sacred monster like Barbra Streisand, starting their sold-out shows.
Then, in 2015, they debuted for the first time on the stage of the Ariston Theatre, with Grande amore, winning the final victory. How is it possible, then, that they have received so much criticism? However, this is what happened, and the Il Volo singers did not remain silent, replying decisively.

Among the most loved columns of Le Iene, there is that of Mean Tweets, i.e. the wicked posts that some users leave about some Italian artists. The protagonists of one of the last episodes of Davide Parenti’s program were the three tenors. The kids read the poisonous tweets taking them with a certain irony, as can be seen from the video published online.
In particular, the release of a user, who asked the three if he could get engaged from time to time with each of them considering them beautiful, made people blurt out Piero, who without mincing words advised the girl to consult an ophthalmologist! But another tweet also made the three smile a lot, especially Gianluca: “Great are those of Il Volo who carry the name of Italy high in the world. My favorite is Ethan but Damiano isn’t bad either” wrote one user, causing Ginoble to burst out laughing at being deliberately confused with the Maneskin artists. Certainly, in addition to talent, Il Volo does not lack self-irony.
