FDG, the 37-year-old worker who fell from a forklift yesterday morning while carrying out an asbestos removal and remediation operation in a company in Martinsicuro which works plastic materials. The young man, an employee of a Tortoreto company specializing in the sector, fell from the basket, falling about four meters for reasons currently being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Martinsicuro station and the inspectors of the Teramo Local Health Authority. The 37-year-old, resident in Alba Adriatica, suffered severe chest trauma which also caused damage to his spleen and was urgently transported to the Mazzini hospital in Teramo where the surgery team reduced the bleeding by operating on the abdominal organ. The operation was successful, the prognosis remains reserved and now the 37-year-old worker is hospitalized in the surgery department.
