GIULIANOVA. From today, the “Abruzzo in salute” camper in Piazza del Mare. It will remain until May 8th, excluding holidays. It is possible to undergo a free Pap test, HPV test, mammography, spirometry, electrocardiogram, check for suspicious moles. Colorectal kits also available.
This morning, many people accessed the diagnostic tests available at the camper of the free prevention campaign “Abruzzo in Salute”, in Piazza del Mare.
The mobile clinic in the square until 8 May excluding holidays (27, 29, 30 April; 2,3, 4 May; 6,7,8 May). Patients of the Teramo Local Health Authority can undergo screening. It is not possible to make reservations and you must have your health card and identification document with you. The tests available are mammography, Pap test, HPV test, spirometry, electrocardiogram, check for suspicious moles. It is possible to request the colon rectum kit.
Mammography (advisable every two years) is aimed at women between 40 and 78 years old; the Pap test (every 3 years) for women between 20 and 30 years old; HPV testing (every 5 years) for women between 30 and 72 years old; spirometry, electrocardiogram and checking of suspicious moles are reserved for people over 16 years of age. Given the time required, no more than six people can undergo mole control per day. The camper is operational on the days indicated from 9am to 5pm, with a break between 1pm and 2pm.
