Ukrainian ‘kamikaze’ drones attacked a metallurgical plant and other facilities used for military purposes in the Russian regions of Belgorod, Voronezh and Lipetsk during the night. A Ukrainian military intelligence source told the Kyiv Independent and the news was confirmed by Russian regional governors, who maintain that the attacks caused no damage or casualties.
According to the source who spoke to the Ukrainian newspaper, one of the targets was the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant and a local tractor factory in Lipetsk Oblast. “Both enterprises are used by the attacker for military purposes,” the source added.

Russian attacks on Ukraine have killed one person and injured 15 over the past day. The regional authorities reported this, specifying that Russia targeted a total of nine Ukrainian oblasts: Chernihiv, Poltava, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Donetsk. Casualties were reported in the last three regions.
A Russian attack on the village of Nova Poltavka in Donetsk Oblast injured seven people, said Governor Vadym Filashkin. The Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts were also attacked by Russia. Two people were injured in the city of Krasnohorivka and one in the city of Toretsk, according to Filashkin. In Kharkiv Oblast, a Russian airstrike damaged four houses and an ambulance in the village of Pisky Radkivski, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said. A 13-year-old boy, a man and a woman were injured, he added.
The Russian forces also attacked a children’s camp in the city of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs during the night, damaging a building, according to Syniehubov. No casualties were reported. Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast damaged seven houses, critical infrastructure, a car and a gas pipeline, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, who said two people were injured in the region yesterday. The Russian ‘kamikaze’ drone also attacked a car in the village of Osokorivka this morning, killing a 50-year-old man, the governor said.
