A heartbreaking video that sees a dog jumping around a car in Long Beach, California. The four-legged friend has just been dumped by his owner. He probably doesn’t understand why and he alternates between jumping to attract attention and the “sitting” position as if he wanted to be forgiven for something bad he didn’t do. The scene goes on for several meters, while no one leans out of the vehicle or rolls down the window.
Destiny Gomez, 24, a woman who finds homes for stray animals, saw the video on social media and wrote to the delivery man: “When I saw that video it broke my heart. I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t hold the dog out of my mind,” Gomez told NBC Los Angeles. Then the activist reposted the video on her Instagram page to attract the attention of followers and try to recover the dog. In the end she managed to get that information and her boyfriend managed to find him safe and sound. After making sure the four-legged friend was safe, fed and cared for, Gomez named him Chico and found him an adoptive parent in nearby Palos Verdes and, as soon as possible, they will look for him a “forever home” that will make him forget the bad experience.
