The four Italians, aged between 24 and 27, were arrested for gang violence in Palma de Mallorca. A girl who had met one of them in front of a nightclub reported them
Four Italians, between 24 and 27 years old, were arrested for group violence against a girl in Playa de Palma, Palma de Mallorca.
This was reported by police sources.
The reconstruction
The facts, according to what was reconstructed by the victim, date back todawn last Sunday, April 7, between 2 and 6 in the morning.
The girl, of Brazilian origins, would have met one of the young tourists around 2 in the morning in front of a renowned nightclub in Passeig Maritim in Palma de Mallorca, and had asked the young man for a cigarette.
Not having one with him, the young man would have gotten him one.
Around 5 in the morning, the two met again in front of the nightclub, deciding to go to his apartment, to Playa de Palma aboard a taxi. Three other friends of the Italian tourist would have left in another taxi.
Once in the apartment, the young Brazilian and the Italian boy would have had consensual intercourse, at the end of which the young man would have gone out and let one of his friends into the room, who would have forced the girl to have sexual intercourse.
Even another guy would have at that point molested the girltouching and kissing her, while the fourth – although aware of the situation – did not take an active part in the events.
The escape, the passport and the interrogations
At that point, the girl would have run away, insulting the boys: and before fleeing, she would have managed to take the passport of one of the attackers. A decisive step when the girl went to report the incident at a police station in Palma de Mallorca.
As reported by El Mundopolice officers accelerated their arrest procedures after discovering that the four young people had planned to leave the island on Sunday.
All those arrested were questioned on Tuesday 9 April.
According to legal sources cited by Iberian media, including Last Hourbefore the magistrate the four arrested would only answer their lawyer’s questions, denying gang violence.
