The Moma Winter Cup 2025 officially kicked off this morning with the traditional check-in al Palanderliniwhich transformed the spaces of the Volleyball School into a real one moment of celebration and colour. From the early hours of the day, the participating teams stopped by to collect the material and start their adventure: a continuous flow of athletes, staff and families that filled the Palanderlini with enthusiasm, smiles and a great desire to play and have fun.
In the afternoon, between 2.30pm and 3.00pm, on 62 playing fieldsdistributed in 13 Municipalities between Modena city, province of Modena and Reggio, the starting whistle has arrived for the sixteenth edition of the Anderlini tournament, which this year sees at the starting line 228 teams ready to compete for a place in the finals scheduled for Monday 29 December at PalaPanini.
However, the first day does not end with the competitions: this evening the categories Under 16 e Under 17 will be the protagonists of the traditional official party at the Vox Club in Nonantolaan unmissable event that combines music, fun and sociality, in the full spirit of the Moma Winter Cup.
Great enthusiasm for the new one too App Anderlinilaunched a few days ago and already reached the ninth place among the most downloaded sports apps in Italy: an extraordinary result that confirms the community’s desire to live the Anderlini experience in an increasingly digital, immediate and engaging way. During the afternoon there was an hour of slowdowns due to the enormous number of simultaneous accesses: however, the service was promptly restored very quickly by our technological partners Taaakwhich guaranteed a full return to normality.

UNDER 14 WOMEN
32 teams are at the start: the qualifying groups will continue tomorrow morning, which will then give access to the Round of 16 in the afternoon. UNDER 16 WOMEN
With 52 teams, the U16 is the largest category at the start: 13 groups, played between today’s afternoon and tomorrow’s morning. At the end of the first day they lead their respective groups Bimont Pallavolo, Best Delivery Millenium and AS Corlo, all tied, Ctt Conad, Modena Volley, Gi.Da AVP and ETC Crema all tied, Mon.vi Bam, MC Restauri School Volley Perugia, Moma Anderlini, New Volley Gavardo, Volleyfriends Torsapienza, Rubierese Volley, Porcari Volley and Tiber Volley, all three, Visette Imoco Center, Olimpia Teodora, Volley Lab, Visette Volley Young and AS Predaia Volley on equal points.
UNDER 18 WOMEN
48 teams will be competing in the Under 18s, divided into 16 groups. After the first day they are at the top of their respective groups Chions Fiume Volley, Enercom Crema, Igor Volley, Libellula Banca CRS, Planet Volley, Moma Anderlini, Synergy Volley Venice, Visette Imoco Center, Rubierese Volley. Volley Friends Rome, Cortina Express Imoco Volley, Futura Volley Giovani, Merisana VAP, NGS Geofarm Porto, SC Rockstar 2, Volleyrò Casal de Pazzi. The Round of 16 kicks off tomorrow morning.
UNDER 15 MACHILE
The 24 teams at the start inaugurated the competition and after the first matches we find ourselves at the top of the groups Colombo Genova, Urban Volley, Rulmeca Volley and Anderlini MO.RE Volley on equal points, TSV Muhldorf and Univolley Carpi tied, Sir Safety Perugia and Volley Parella Torino both on 6, VLW Volley Landersverband, Vero Volley Monza and Fenice Pallavolo on equal points. The groups will continue tomorrow.
UNDER 17 MACHILE
The 40 participating teams gave life to an intense first day: they lead the groups MO.RE Volley, Modena Volley, Conteco Check Vero Volley, Colombo Genova, Marino Pallavolo, Torino Volley Next Gen, Team Rockstar, Roma 7 Volley, Cuneo Volley and TSV Muhldorf all on three points, Avolley Schio Torrebelvicino, Univolley Nextgen and Volley Savigliano on equal points, Desio Volley Brianza. The group stage will continue tomorrow morning.
UNDER 19 MACHILE
There are 32 teams at the start of the most “senior” category of the tournament. After the first day they are at the top of the groups People YVC Scanzorosciate, KK Volley Roma, MO.RE Volley, 949, Marino Pallavolo, Modena Volley, Team Rockstar, TSV Muhldorf. The groups will continue tomorrow.
