It was September 19, 2022 and, on Canale 5, the first episode of the seventh edition of Big Brother VIP was broadcast. Signorini as hosts, Berti and Bruganelli as commentators, Giulia Salemi for the social area. Nikita Pelizon wins and, among the competitors, there is also Luciano Punzo, a model and TV personality who was then 28 years old. Today, interviewed by Fanpage.it, he opened up on some revelations about his entry into the most spied on house in Italy.
Luciano Punzo and the call with Signorini and Corona
The former gieffino reported that he joined the cast of the 2022/2023 edition following a call in which, according to what he said, Fabrizio Corona, Alfonso Signorini and an author of the program participated – the conditional is a must.
“I did the GF through Fabrizio Corona: he proposed it to me four times after Temptation Island. Alfonso Signorini already called me for the edition previous to the one in which I participated, but he wanted me to enter as a single and not as a boyfriend. When I entered the 2022/2023 edition I was already single again”, said Punzo.

He then explained: “At that time they were only looking for single guys. But no one asked me to leave my girlfriend. They only told me that a contestant who was engaged didn’t meet the profile they were looking for. And I, who was linked to my ex, replied that I couldn’t participate in the program. That year I didn’t enter. Then the story with Manuela ended and, through my agent Alex Pacifico, I began to get involved in cinema. Some time later Fabrizio called me back to invite me to be a GF again, and I decided to accept. So I entered the House.”
Punzo added that he had a regular audition in the presence of Signorini and the programme’s authors. At the moment there are no confirmations or denials from those directly involved on the truthfulness of Punzo’s statements nor on the possible involvement – and in what terms – of the former paparazzi king Fabrizio Corona, sued by Signorini for revenge porn.
